There are few better ways to spend a winter Sunday than gathered around the table with exceptional wine, seasonal produce and great company.
On Sunday 26 July, The Winestore invites you to our much-anticipated Annual Wine Lunch - an intimate afternoon celebrating the latest releases and iconic wines from McHenry Hohnen.
Hosted by Head Winemaker Jacopo Dalli Cani and Winemaker Henry Wynne, with special commentary from Founder Murray McHenry, the lunch offers a rare opportunity to hear the stories behind the vineyards, vintages and winemaking philosophy that have helped define one of Margaret River's most respected wineries.

A Seasonal Menu, Thoughtfully Paired
Your afternoon begins with freshly shucked oysters alongside stracciatella, farm red gum honey and shaved Manjimup truffle, perfectly paired with Blanc de Blanc 2023 and Chloé Rosé 2026.
An elegant amuse-bouche of WA half-shell scallop with miso nori butter and salmon roe follows, matched with Laterite Hills Chardonnay 2025.
The shared entrée showcases the best of the season, featuring poached Tasmanian salmon, house-made pumpkin gnocchi, baked Fromager d'Affinois and local pan-seared prawns. This course is accompanied by a flight of three distinguished single-vineyard Chardonnays: Burnside Vineyard Chardonnay 2024, Calgardup Brook Vineyard Chardonnay 2024 and Hazel's Vineyard Chardonnay 2024.
The main course celebrates Murray's farm-raised lamb, presented three ways:
slow-braised shoulder with soft white polenta and shaved Manjimup truffle, char-grilled backstrap finished with a parmesan herb crumb, and oven-roasted French cutlets with rich jus.
Served alongside sautéed local mushrooms and stringless beans with toasted almonds, the dish is paired with Hazel's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 and Rolling Stone 2019.
To finish, indulge in a decadent chocolate pot de crème with sour cherry and pecan brittle, followed by shared cheese platters. The final pour of Hazel's Vineyard Zinfandel 2023 provides the perfect conclusion to the afternoon.
