About the producer
Champagne Egly-Ouriet
Egly-Ouriet is helmed by Francis Egly, a founding figure of the grower Champagne movement, who farms vines aged 40–60 years across Ambonnay and neighbouring Grand Crus with organic and biodynamic practices. The V.P. cuvée reflects the house's guiding philosophy: that complexity and terroir expression only deepen with extended time on lees. Today, Francis's children Clémence and Charles are increasingly involved in the domaine, Clémence overseeing exports and Charles managing the vineyards, continuing the family's exacting, low-yield, hands-on approach.
