About the producer
Jim Barry Wines
Jim Barry Wines is a family-owned Clare Valley producer. Jim Barry, the region's first qualified winemaker, bought land near Clare in 1959 and first released wines under his own name in 1974. Peter Barry led the business, with sons Tom and Sam now running it. The Armagh vineyard was planted in 1968, the first Armagh Shiraz was made in 1985, and the wine holds Langton's 'Exceptional' classification.
