Nose: Intense and layered: nashi pear, finger lime and lemon curd, with white florals, brioche, sesame praline, oatmeal and a hint of grilled cashew

Palate: Pristine, intense and seamless; powerful but poised, laser-like acidity, creamy lees complexity and an extremely long finish

About the producer
Leeuwin Estate
Leeuwin Estate is a family-owned Margaret River estate founded by Denis and Tricia Horgan, who bought the property in 1969 and planted vines from 1974 with early guidance from Robert Mondavi. The first commercial release was in 1979. The Art Series, labelled with paintings commissioned from leading Australian artists, is its flagship range and the Art Series Chardonnay is one of Australia's most collected white wines.
