Colour: Brilliant pale straw with a greenish tint at the edges

Nose: Concentrated and intense; a fruit core of nashi pear, finger lime and Lisbon lemon, with lemon curd, ginger and florals

Palate: Detailed and ethereal; pear, nectarine, white peach and lemon curd; gentle mid-palate texture, vibrant acidity and a black-tea, talc and chalk-like finish

Leeuwin Estate
Leeuwin Estate is a family-owned Margaret River estate founded by Denis and Tricia Horgan, who bought the property in 1969 and planted vines from 1974 with early guidance from Robert Mondavi. The first commercial release was in 1979. The Art Series, labelled with paintings commissioned from leading Australian artists, is its flagship range and the Art Series Chardonnay is one of Australia's most collected white wines.
