Colour: Deep maroon, slightly paler than some earlier vintages

Nose:  Cassis, liquorice and violets with cedar, ripe mulberry, tobacco, graphite and pencil shavings

Palate: Medium to full-bodied, concentrated blackcurrant, plum, red liquorice and mulberry; firm tannins, fresh acidity and a very long finish

About the producer
Moss Wood
Moss Wood is one of the founding estates of Margaret River, Western Australia. The Wilyabrup vineyard was planted in 1969 and the first Cabernet Sauvignon was made in 1973. Keith Mugford has made the wines since 1979 and Clare Mugford has worked alongside him since 1984; the family-run business now spans two generations. The estate is dry-grown, hand-harvested and sealed exclusively under screw cap.
