Pannell Family Chardonnay 2025

A limited-release, single-vineyard Chardonnay marking the first white wine to carry the Pannell Family name, following on from the success of the family's Pinot Noir. The oak and bâtonnage influence has been scaled back deliberately, letting the purity and length of the fruit take centre stage - a fine, elegant debut very much in the house style Picardy is known for. 

Appearance
Pale straw with a hint of green-gold - typical of a lightly-oaked, cool-climate Chardonnay of this style.

Nose
Stone fruit, honeysuckle and ginger, with lightly fragrant floral nuances, a subtle cashew nuttiness and a faint citrus lift. 

Palate
Ripe stone fruit carries through with a touch of citrus pith and cashew, while the palate seems deceptively light before building intensity, driving through to a sustained, refined finish.
