Penfolds' approachable Cabernet Sauvignon, first released with the 1990 vintage and inspired by Bin 707. A multi-regional South Australian blend offering varietal definition, structure and cellaring potential.

Nose:
Wild raspberry and blackcurrant, then caponata, forest floor and bay leaf; olive tapenade, cedar-vanillin oak, vanilla slice, star anise and five-spice.

Palate:
Approachable on release yet structured, with concentrated dark fruit, chalky tannins and fresh acidity; several decades of cellar potential.
