The 2018 Pierro ‘Pinot’s’ reflects the estate’s meticulous, Burgundian inspired approach to Pinot Noir, shaped by Margaret River’s cool maritime influence. Crafted with an emphasis on precision and balance, this wine draws from carefully selected parcels and gentle handling to preserve purity of fruit and site expression. Thoughtful use of whole berries and restrained oak maturation allow texture and detail to emerge naturally, resulting in a Pinot Noir that favors finesse over excess. Bottled with minimal intervention, it speaks clearly of both vintage and place.
Appearance:
Bright crimson with garnet hues and a luminous, youthful clarity.
Nose:
Elegant and lifted, offering red cherry, wild strawberry, and cranberry layered with subtle forest floor, dried rose petal, and a fine dusting of spice and French oak.
Palate:
Silky and composed, showing pure red fruit flavors framed by fine-grained tannins. Notes of cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate are complemented by savory nuances of mushroom, gentle earth, and a touch of clove, carried by fresh natural acidity.
Finish:
Long, poised, and quietly persistent, with lingering red fruit, soft spice, and a refined mineral edge that underscores its elegance.
