Standish Lamella Shiraz 2024

The 2024 Lamella Shiraz is drawn from the old-vine Stonegarden Vineyard in the Eden Valley, planted in the late 1800s. Hand-picked and open-fermented, then matured in French oak, it shows dark berry fruit, warm spice and fine, savoury tannins - a pure, high-altitude expression of Eden Valley Shiraz and the entry point into the Standish range.

Appearance:
Youthful, saturated ruby-purple with a bright, clear edge.

Nose:
Vibrant blackberry and dark plum, framed by rose petal, cracked pepper and a hint of sage.

Palate:
Medium-bodied and pure, with fresh dark fruit, fine tannins and a lively acid line that gives energy and drive.

Finish:
Fresh and spice-tinged, with dark berry fruit lingering cleanly.
