Standish The Relic Shiraz Viognier 2024

The 2024 Relic is sourced from the east-facing Hongell Family Vineyard in Krondorf, where a small amount of Viognier is co-fermented with Shiraz. The Viognier lifts the wine's perfume and adds a fine floral edge, apricot and white pepper, over a core of dark berry fruit and silky, refined tannins.

Appearance:
Bright, youthful ruby with a vivid, glossy edge.

Nose:
Lifted apricot blossom and rose petal over fresh dark berry fruit, with a fine dusting of white pepper.

Palate:
Medium to full-bodied and silky, with juicy dark fruit, fine, supple tannins and a perfumed floral lift throughout.

Finish:
Long and aromatic, with apricot, white pepper and dark fruit carrying through gracefully.
