Standish The Standish Shiraz 2024

The 2024 Standish is the flagship of the range, grown on the Laycock Family Vineyard in the western Barossa parish of Greenock. It embodies Dan Standish's founding philosophy of fruit purity and transparency of site - deep in colour, with ripe blackberry, dark plum and black cherry, savoury Barossa herb notes and full-bodied, finely structured tannins.

Appearance:
Deep, youthful ruby-purple with a bright, vivid rim.

Nose:
Fresh blackberry and dark plum, with black cherry, sage and a hint of dried herb.

Palate:
Full-bodied and dense, with vibrant dark fruit, fine but firm tannins and a savoury herbal depth beneath the fruit.

Finish:
Long and commanding, with sage, dark spice and black fruit lingering well.
