Nose: Toasted cashew, white peach, pink grapefruit and preserved lemon rind, with flint, honeysuckle and citrus blossom

Palate: Textural, shapely and tightly structured; saline acidity, lime peel, toasted nuts and ginger; long, dry finish with phenolic grip

Vasse Felix
Vasse Felix is Margaret River's founding wine estate, established in 1967 by Dr Tom Cullity. The Home Vineyard is in Wilyabrup, the estate has been owned by the Holmes a Court family since 1987, and Virginia Willcock is chief winemaker. Heytesbury is its flagship Chardonnay, a selection of the vintage's most striking barrels and vineyard blocks.
