Appearance:
Brilliant pale straw with a faint green edge.

Nose:
Flint and struck-match minerality with citrus, white peach, honeysuckle and nectarine, plus light biscuity oak and cashew.

Palate:
Rich yet fine, with nectarine, pear and dried honey flavours, a creamy cashew-nut undercurrent, and taut natural acidity giving a long, stylish, mineral finish.

About the producer
Woodlands Wines
Woodlands is a family-owned Margaret River winery established in 1973 by David and Heather Watson, among the first five vineyards planted in the region. Now run by sons Andrew and Stuart Watson, the estate farms the original Woodlands Vineyard on Caves Road and the Woodlands Brook Vineyard (added 2007/08), both in the Wilyabrup Valley subregion, using dry-grown, low-intervention and organically certified viticulture. Woodlands is best known for cabernet-based reds that regularly rival top Bordeaux in blind tastings, alongside acclaimed single-vineyard Chardonnay.
