About the producer
Domaine Armand Rousseau Père et Fils
Founded in 1919 by Armand Rousseau in Gevrey-Chambertin, this fifth-generation family domaine is regarded as one of the benchmark producers of Burgundy. Charles Rousseau built the estate's reputation through the mid-20th century; today it is run by Eric Rousseau and his daughter Cyrielle Rousseau, who continue a meticulous, low-intervention approach in both vineyard and cellar. The domaine holds some of the finest Grand Cru and Premier Cru parcels in Gevrey-Chambertin, including Chambertin and Clos de Bèze, and is celebrated for wines of purity, precision, and long-term ageing potential.
