The 2024 42 Degrees South Pinot Noir beautifully expresses the cool-climate character of Tasmania’s Coal River Valley, crafted by the team at Frogmore Creek with a minimalist, fruit-forward philosophy. Named for the island’s central latitude, this Pinot Noir showcases careful vineyard selection and gentle winemaking, including a 48-hour cold soak, mixed wild and inoculated ferments, and maturation that preserves freshness, resulting in an elegant, approachable wine that highlights purity of fruit and bright acidity.
Appearance:
Bright ruby red with a clear, youthful rim and lively clarity.
Nose:
Fresh and lifted, with aromas of cherry, raspberry, and red berries, accented by subtle florals and gentle spice.
