Standish Schubert's Theorem 2024
The 2024 Schubert's Theorem comes from a single block on the Schubert family's Roennfeldt Road vineyard in Marananga, western Barossa Valley, where dry-grown vines planted in 1912 yield fruit of exceptional concentration. Deep, layered dark fruit, graphite and earthy, savoury complexity define a wine built for the long haul in the cellar.
Appearance:
Deep, youthful purple-black with a vivid, saturated core.
Nose:
Vibrant blackberry, dark plum and boysenberry, layered with graphite, spice and savoury earth.
Palate:
Full-bodied and dense, with primary dark fruit, firm but fine tannins and a mineral, savoury thread underneath.
Finish:
Long, powerful and graphite-tinged, with dark fruit and spice carrying well.
